About Me

- I attended the University of Utah where I received my Bachelors of Economics and a Bachelors in Finance. After receiving my Bachelors, I went to work for Goldman Sachs on the Products and Pricing Team. While at Goldman, I applied and was accepted to the University of Utah's Master of Finance program. I was approached to join Goldman's OTC Derivative and Structured Product team. The rigors of this position required me to put my Master of Finance on hold as I was now taking on Swiss trading for a friend that was moving to another team. While on the OTC Derivatives team I tested, passed, and became a CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) holder. A few months later I was accepted into Carnegie Mellon's Tepper School of Business MBA program. I could do this program because it was video conferenced to me in Goldman's board room. I took a Fall semester with them but soon after the market crashed. I left Goldman in December of 2008. That Spring I went back to the University of Utah to complete my Masters in Finance. August 2009 came around and I completed my Masters.
